David Husser Piano Studio

About the Studio

David Husser teaches piano lessons from his home in Traverse City, Michigan. His students receive weekly lessons which focus on playing music of various genres, theory, history, ear training, and composition. Students have the opportunity to perform in front of large and small audiences at many recitals and events throughout the year. Detailed information can be found in the studio policies.

About the Students

Students range in age from five years old to adult, though most are in elementary or junior high school. Their ability levels vary from beginners to advanced students considering a music major in college. Many of them also play other instruments in a school band or orchestra, or sing in a choir. These students study and play music of many different styles, and often compose their own pieces.
